The Maine Downtown Center is
a resource for all Maine Communities that want to revitalize their downtowns.
We provide several services that are designed to help downtown enthusiasts
network, provide you with best practice information about downtown
revitalization, connect you to available resources and information and assist
with your local downtown needs:
Downtown Assessment Visit Program
This fee for service program
is open to all Maine communities. The Assessment Visit consists of a 2-day site
visit during which a consultant team identifies downtown revitalization
opportunities and develops recommendations for a plan for action. Click here for more

Anyone may sign up to
receive occasional, informational updates on workshops offered by the Downtown
Center and other organizations around the state, new initiatives about the
Downtown Center and other news from the Downtown Center. All updates are

The Maine Downtown Center
hosts educational workshops on pertinent downtown revitalization topics that
are open to the public. The Center also sponsors an annual Maine Downtown Conference,
a day long conference and networking opportunity for downtown revitalization
