Learn how to clearly define the purpose of your downtown organization and establish and communicate realistic goals and objectives. Discover how to build and retain an effective board of directors that keeps the organization functioning at its peak, works as team and celebrates the work of volunteers. Lead presenter: Craig Freshley of Good Group Decisions.
Advance registration is required. Cost is $35 per session or $25 per session for Main Street Maine and Maine Downtown Network communities, as well as Maine Development Foundation members. Click on link for registration form.

COMING FROM SOUTH TAKE MAINE TURNPIKE EXIT 109
Bear right towards Augusta and merge onto Western Avenue. Go straight through all the traffic lights. After a few miles you will approach Memorial Circle (rotary). Take third exit off rotary. Go straight to the next light. Take a right and go across Father Curran Bridge to traffic light. Take a right at the light. This will bring you directly into City Center parking lot.
COMING FROM NORTH TAKE MAINE TURNPIKE EXIT 112
Take left onto Rt. 27. Go straight through traffic lights. After a few miles you will see a Cumberland Farms store on the left with a blinking light directly after. Take a left (Bond Street). Then take a right at stop sign (Water Street). Go to traffic light; take a left (Water Street) go across Father Curran Bridge to traffic light. Take a right at the light. This will bring you directly into City Center parking lot.
