TUITION AND REFUND POLICY

Tuition:

 

§         Tuition for Leadership Maine includes all meals during session times, instructional materials and the three-day Outward Bound experience.  Additional expenses that are not covered by tuition include any overnights after the opening retreat, travel, and meals outside of session time.

 

§         Each individual must personally contribute $200, thus demonstrating the commitment necessary to ensure the best possible experience.

 

 

Scholarships:

 

§         Scholarship assistance is available on a limited basis to ensure the diversity of the program. Selection decisions are made need-blind.  Individual payment plans can be arranged.

 

§         For those seeking scholarship support, scholarships will be awarded based on need and availability of resources. Scholarship requests are confidential. 

 

 

Deposits/Refunds/Credits:

 

§         A deposit representing 20% of your tuition is due upon your selection in order to hold your place in the class and will be non-refundable. Selection letters will be mailed in early May.  Deposits are due no later than June 1.

 

§         The balance of tuition will be invoiced June 15 and due by July 15. No refunds will be made after July 15.

 

§         In very special emergency cases credit toward next year’s program will be issued.  This is at the discretion of the President/CEO of Maine Development Foundation.

 

§         Credits are non-refundable.
