Maine Downtown Center to Deliver Downtown Market Analysis
Workshop on September 26th

The Maine Downtown Center
will host a full-day workshop on September 26th that will showcase a
new, on-line market analysis toolbox that uses market data and Geographic
Information Systems to identify economic opportunities downtown and in small
towns.
This workshop will feature
explanations and hands-on exercises designed to give participants the skills to
conduct market analysis in their communities and will be conducted by market
analysis experts from the Wisconsin Main Street Program and the University of
Wisconsin-Extension Center for Community Economic Development who created the

The workshop will be held at
the Sweester Professional Building, located at 146 Main Street, Saco. The
workshop begins at 8:30a.m. with refreshments and registration, program begins
promptly at 9:00am, and concludes at 4:00 p.m. Lunch will be provided. The cost
of the workshop is $70 per person except that individuals from Maine Street
Maine communities participate for just $10 (to cover lunch and refreshments).
