MAHP Newsletter Content Survey

Dear Colleagues,

In September 2025, the Alliance issued its first newsletter: MAHP Connecting Points. The intent is to distribute a quarterly newsletter to MAHP’s members and other interested parties. We want the newsletter to be effective and useful to you while also remaining cognizant of the number of emails that enter our inboxes. Your input is thus important in ensuring its usefulness.

Below you will find a number of options to consider but we also urge you to write in more specifically, those things you would find most helpful. These may also change over time so please be in touch directly to let us know.

State Legislative Activity

The legislature is back in session and bills are being introduced as are revisions, testimony timeframes, and work sessions. In addition to notifications directly obtainable via Legislative Committees, a number of organizations in the state have set up monitoring sites that are quite comprehensive in following specific bills. What you will find is that while some bills overlap (always a good sign of shared issues and of opportunities for collaboration), few bills are solely unique to the organization that is monitoring them.

We have provided a few links below to organizations that we are currently aware of that do have online monitoring sites and/or stated priorities. Many of these organizations share the Alliance’s interest in policies that affect health, prosperity, and equity. We urge you to take a look if you are not already aware of them. This is certainly not an exhaustive list so if you know of organizations, including your own, that do offer online monitoring, please let us know.
